What is the thinking behind your mission?

Unfortunately photography is an unregulated industry, therefore allowing photographers to charge anything they want, and at times for photographs that are less than satisfactory. Photographs By Camille believe that you can get fantastic photographs but at an affordable rate, and all couples, not matter what their budget has the right to quality imagery. There is a myth with photography that the more you pay, the better image you, Photographs by Camille hopes to dispel this myth.

What is your style of Wedding of Photography?

Photographs By Camille produces wedding imagery that is relaxed, intimate, spontaneous, and candid or for a better word Reportage however the word Paparazzi also comes to mind as most of the time, you will not know you and your guests photographs are being taken. Also, as a female photographer, the images have a feminine softness to them.

Do you do formal shots?

Yes, these can be in the manner described above or the more traditional shots.

What area’s do you cover?

All of London and the home counties plus Hasting, Oxford, Bath and yes, Photographs By Camille shoot Weddings in Paris and France.

Where is your studio based?

Photographs By Camille studio is based in North West London, in the beautiful leafy surrounds of Belsize Park, close to Primrose Hill Park.

Do you charge travel costs?

No, Photographs By Camille do not charge travel costs.

Do your charge a weekend surcharge?

No, absolutely not! Why, because Weddings generally occur at weekends, to charge extra is not in line with our value of customer commitment and affordability.

Do you cover the whole reception?

Yes, Photographs By Camille covers the whole reception as it is an essential part of your day and the photographs taken should reflect the whole wedding story, just not snippets or staged shots of the day.

Why is a pre wedding consultation required and what happens? A pre wedding meeting/s is an absolute and always encouraged as it not only helps us work together as a team but it also ensures that you are working with a photographer who understands your wants and who you are comfortable working with, after all, a wedding is such an intimate and important event, the last thing you as a couple need to worry about is having a personality clash with your photographer on your big day.

When do you do pre wedding consultations?

At a time that suits you, days, evenings, weekends, in the comfort of your home or on your lunch hour in Starbucks, you are however more than welcome to come to Belsize Park.

Why do I need to leave a deposit or a booking fee?

Due to the quality of work and affordability, a deposit (also known as a booking fee) is required to secure the date of your wedding or photographic shoot.

How can I pay?

You may pay by Cash (in person), Credit or Debit Card, Paypal or Cheque. Photographs By Camille will send you an invoice by E-mail that contains or payment instructions or if you are buying a photograph, simply go to the relevant gallery and click on the desired image.

What discounts do you offer?

This changes from time to time but currently; Photographs By Camille is offering a £50 discount on Wedding and Burlesque Packages booked in May/June/July/August plus a 25% discount from optional extras if purchased at the time of booking a Wedding or Burlesque Package.

Can I see a portfolio?

Yes, online, at the consultation or Photographs By Camille is more than willing to send you some examples of our work.

Is the album included in the price?

Depends on the package.

Do you charge a flat fee or work by the hour?

Photographs By Camille charge a flat fee, we do not charge by the hour simply because all weddings are unique and each couple has different needs.

Are we expected to provide any food, transport and/or accommodation? You do not need to provide a meal for the Photographer; the thought is much appreciated though. In terms of transport, only if it is agreed that the photographer will travel in your car to get shots between venues

Can we keep the negatives, if not is there an option to buy them?

Photographs By Camille only shoots in digital. In terms of having the prints on a Disc, all packages include a preview disc of all the photographs taken on the day.

Will you be using an assistant?

Depends on the needs of each individual wedding.

And is the assistant included in the price?

If an assistant is required, then Photographs By Camille will absorb the cost.

What is the cancellation/postponement policy? The Client may cancel this contract at any time by giving written notice to the Photographer but in doing so shall forfeit any monies paid. If the Photographer is forced to cancel the agreement then any fees and deposits will be reimbursed in full to the client.

Photographs By Camille is more than willing to accommodate couples who change the date of their big day however this is subject to availability. Request to change date must be made in writing and if the new date cannot be accommodated then, all monies paid will be forfeited.

How much deposit and when is due? A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking or by a date fixed by Photographs By Camille.

When is the balance due?

The balance is due 14 days prior to the date of the Wedding, failure to pay the amount by the due date will result in a late payment fee. Continued failure to pay will see the matter referred to a Debt Collection Agency.

What spare kit do you take?

Two of everything, one need to be prepared for the unexpected. Camille approaches every wedding in a calm, relaxed and professional manner, able to deal with any problem in a problem solving manner.

Do you photography more than one Wedding per day?

No, absolutely Not.
